4 OPERA TION Bef ore using Remov e all secur ing tapes. Wash inside the appliance with luke war m water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
5 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou ma y hear faint gurgling or b ubb ling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e v aporator or to the fix ed freezer shelv es.
6 Mo v able shelves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . F or better use of space, the front half-shelv es can lie ov er the rear ones. P ositioning the door shelves T o per mit storage of f ood packages of various sizes , the door shelves can be adjusted in height.
7 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance , neither hot f oods nor liquids which ma y e v aporate, should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
8 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Bef ore any maintenance or cleaning w ork is carr ied out, DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply . Internal c leaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water).
