4 Making ice cubes The appliance is provided with one or more tra ys for ice-cubes tra ys. Fill the tra y(s) 3/4 full to give the ice space to e xpand and place them in the freezer compar tment. T o release the ice cubes simply giv e the tra y a slight twist.
5 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou ma y hear f aint gurgling or bub bling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e v aporator or to the fix ed freezer shelves .
6 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance, neither hot f oods nor liquids which ma y e v aporate, should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
7 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Bef ore any maintenance or cleaning w ork is carr ied out, DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply . Internal c leaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water).
8 • When defrosting is completed, dry the interior thoroughly and refit the plug. • T urn the thermostat knob back to the required setting or replace the plug in the power socket. • Reload the previously removed food into the compartment. Never use sharp met al tools to scrape off frost from the evaporator as you could damage it.

13 INST ALLA TION P ositioning This appliance should only be installed at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate classification indicated on the rating plate, which is located at the left on the inside of the appliance.

15 DOOR REVERSAL The appliance’ s door has been lock ed in position f or transpor t by means of pins on both sides . According to the door opening direction, remov e relev ant pins at the top and at the bottom. Inner door reversal W arning! If the ambient temperature is cold (i.
16 Fit the appliance in the niche by making sure that it stands against the interior surface of the unit on the side where the door hinges of the appliances are fitted. Inser t the appliance until the upper str ip butts up against the unit (1) and make sure that the lo wer hinge is in line with the surf ace of the unit (2).

18 Fix cov er (Hc) on guide (Ha) until it clips into place PR33 Hc Ha PR167 Ha Hb 8m m Open the appliance door and the furniture door at 90 ° . Inser t the small square (Hb) into guide (Ha). Put together the appliance door and the furniture door and mark the holes as indicated in the figure.
After completion of the door rever sing operation, chec k that the door gasket adheres to the cabinet. If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e . in Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet.
