4 OPERA TION Bef ore using Remov e all secur ing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke war m w ater and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
5 F ast-freezing F or f ast-freezing, push the f ast freeze s witch (D). The f ast freeze light (C) will then light up . The f ast-freezing function accelerates the freezing of fresh f ood and, at the same time, protects f oodstuffs already stored from undesirab le warming.
6 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou ma y hear f aint gurgling or bub bling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e v aporator or to the fix ed freezer shelves .
7 Mo v able shelves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . F or better use of space, the front half-shelv es can lie ov er the rear ones. P ositioning the door shelves T o per mit storage of f ood packages of various sizes , the door shelves can be adjusted in height.
8 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance, neither hot f oods nor liquids which ma y e v aporate, should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
