7 USE Po sition and clean the cabinet as explained in the sect ion "Inst allation". Check that t he drain hose is locat ed over th e dri p bowl b eh in d the r efr iger ato r . Als o ensur e that the d rain hose is connected t o the bo x. See t he illustr ation.
8 DI SPLAY Excess ive temper atur e alarm and Door ope n a cou stic al arm Indicat or (if for eseen) If o n the temperat ure indicat ed is the am bie n t tem pera tu re Positi ve or n ega tive T emper.
9 The newly s elected-temper atur e must be r eached after 24 hours. It is not necessar y to set t he tempera- tur e again after long perio ds of non use as the t emperatur e r emains stor e d. Att ent ion! During the stab ility perio d by the first star ting t he temperat ure dis played can not c orr espo nd to t he sett ing t empe- rat ur e.
10 In t his conditio n the chos en tempera- tur es ar e automat ically set (+ 5°C and - 18°C) , in the bes t cond itio ns for storin g food. It is po ssible t o de-activ ate the functio n at any time by changing the selected temper atur e in one of the compar t- ments.
11 Press the ke y (E) to stop the ac ou stic alarm. When normal condit ions ar e rest or ed (door cl osed) : - the acoust ic alarm will s top. Contr ol Panel (water di spense r) H I N L M J K H. Yellow indicato r lamp Light s up when the lo cking funct io n has been activat ed.
12 Selecting and obt aining water: Befor e obtaining wat er , selection is carried o ut either by pr essing the butt on for carbo nated water ( I) or t he bu tton for ordin a ry wate r (J). Th e actual choice is in dicated by t he butt on which light s up.
13 Cabine t inter ior The shelves and doo r compart ments ar e r emovable and can eas ily be re-arran ged. Cert ain shelves must be lifted up b y the r ear edg e to enable t hem to b e re m o ve d . 15 MAINTENANCE and CLEANING Remov ing the ventilat ion grille The vent ilation g rille can be r emov ed, e.g. to was h the grille. Mak e sure the door is ope n wh en r emov ing the ventilatio n grille. Unsnap the upper edge o f the gr ille by pulling outw ar d/dow nwar d.

17 De frosti ng th e f rid ge The fridg e is defr os ted auto matically every time t he compr essor sto ps. Fr ost form ation can be pr evented by: · no t putt ing war m foo dst uf f inside the cabinet . · avo iding fr equently op enin g the door or ke epi n g it ope n too l ong.
18 Sound level in cabinet is too high. The r efrigerat ing syst em will always pr od uce so me so unds. A p ulsing s ound is he ar d when coo lant is pumped insid e the coo ling pipes. A ti cking so und fr om the t hermo st at can be hear d w hen the com pr ess or sw itche s on a nd off.
19 Onl y gas c omes ou t wh en open in g In comin g wate r pressure too high . In stall a pr essur e-limiting d evice. Capacity t emporar ily exceeded. W ait for t en minut es. The water dis penser lamp and the yello w indicator lamp flashes Leakage at t he water co nnection.
20 Lowest pe rmissibl e wa ter pressure. 2, 5 ba r (250kPa) Cons ult yo ur inst aller i f wate r pr ess ur e is less than 2,5 bar . Highest per missible water pressure. 5 b ar (500k Pa) If water p res sur e exceeds 5 bar , than a r eduction v alve must b e fitted ( available fr om your sp ecialist shop) .
21 Connecting the wat er hose. The water co upling is connected to a water tap with an ext ernal 3/4 inch thr ead. Thi s work is to be c arri ed ou t by a skilled plumbing inst allatio n technician. The r efriger ator is to be connected wit h a shut -of f co ck.
22 Electrical cord Do no t r emov e the p ow er co rd by pulling o n its lead , particular y when t he pr oduc t is being pul led out o f it s niche. · Damage to the cor d may cause a shor t-cir cuit, fire and/ or elect ric shock.

Then turn up the br acket lev er (6) in one co ntinuo us mov ement . See t he illustr ation and the inst ructions on t he inside o f the serv ice hatch.
25 Con n ec t the brown (l i ve) wi re to th e ter minal in the plug which is mark ed with th e le tter " L " or c ol oured red. The p lu g mou ld ed on to th e l ea d incorpo rates a fuse. For r eplacement, use a 13a mp BSI362 fu se. On l y AST A or BSI appr oved fuses sh ould be u sed.
