Fixing the installation plate Drilling the Hole 1. Install the installation plate horizontally over the structural parts on the wall using the spaces indicated on the plate, as shown in the figure above. 2. In the case of tiled, concrete or similar walls, create 5 mm- diameter holes.
Piping and wrapping 1. Bundle the tubing, connecting cable, and drain hose with tape securely , evenly as shown. 2. Because the condensed water from r ear of the indoor unit is gathered in ponding box and is piped out of room. Do not put anything else in the box.
Settlement of outdoor unit Anchor the outdoor unit with a bolt and nut 10 or 8 tightly and horizontally on a concrete or rigid mount. 1. The inside and outside connecting cable can be connected without removing the fr ont grille. 2. Connecting cable between indoor unit and outdoor unit shall be approved polychloropr ene sheathed flexible cor d, type designation H07RN-F or heavier cord.
1. Remove the electrical control boar d cover from the outdoor unit by loosening the screw . 2. Connect the cables to the terminals as identified with their respective matched numbers on the terminal block of indoor and outdoor units.
1. Never fail to have an individual power circuit specifically for the air conditioner . As for the method of wiring, be guided by the circuit diagram posted on the inside of control cover .
When using the vacuum pump F or method of using a manifold valve, refer to its operation manual. 1. Completely tighten the flare nuts, A, B, C, D, connect the manifold valve char ge hose to a char ge port of the low-pressur e valve on the gas pipe side.
Operation test Perform test operation after completing gas leak check at the flare nut connections and electrical safety check. 1. Connect the power , press the ON/OFF button on the remote controller to turn the unit on. 2. Use the MODE button to select COOL, HEA T , AUTO and F AN to check if all the functions works well.

R e mo te c o nt r ol Remote control battery T o use the r emote control, it is necessary to install two (R03/Ir03x2) alkaline AAA batteries. 1. The air conditioner will not operate when curtains, doors other materials block the signals between the remote contr ol and the indoor unit.
ON/OFF: Push this button to start operation, push the button again to stop operation. MODE: Each time you push the button, a mode is selected in a sequence that goes from AUTO, COOL*, DR Y , HEA T and F AN, as the following figure indicates: * Note: Only for heating and cooling models.
CANCEL: Push this button to cancel the TIMER ON/OFF settings. TURBO*: Push this button on COOL mode, the air conditioner goes into powerful cooling operation. Push again to cancel the TURBO function. *Note: Only for some models. LED: Press this button to clear the digit display in the air conditioner , press it again to activate it.
C l oc k a d j us tm e n t Before you start operating the air conditioner , set the clock of the r emote controller using the pr ocedur es given in this section. The clock panel on the remote contr oller will display the time r egardless of whether the air conditioner is in use or not.
Air flow direction adjustment Use SWING to adjust the airflow direction up and down. 1. When swing is pressed the horizontal louver moves up and down automatically .

The AIR DIRECTION and SWING buttons will be disabled when the air conditioner is not in operation (including when the TIMER ON is set).
M a in te n a nc e Cleaning the indoor unit and remote controller 1. It is necessary to stop the air conditioner and disconnect the power supply before cleaning. 2. Use a dry cloth to wipe the indoor unit and remote contr oller . 3. A cloth dampened with cold water may be used on the indoor unit if it is very dirty .
