8 T emper atur e setting buttons The temper atur e is adjusted using the “B“ and “D“ buttons. These buttons ar e connected to the temper ature display .
9 Attention! If you are using the appliance as a fr eezing unit: Please wait prior to putting the foodstuff to be fr ozen, until the fr eezer interior temperatur e has attained -18 °C.
10 Starting Up - Setting the T emper atur e 1. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket. 2. If the display is OFF , press ON/OFF button. The alarm light flashes and the buzzer sounds. 3. Press the “I” button to stop the buzzer , the light still flashes since the temper atur is r eached.
11 Switching the Appliance off T o switch off, hold down the ON/OFF button for appr ox. 3 seconds. This will r esult in a countdown fr om "3" to "1" taking place in the temperatur e display . On r eaching "1" the fridge will switch off.
12 Fr eezing and storing fr ozen food Y ou can use your freezer for fr eezing fr esh food your self. Impor tant! • The temper atur e in the freezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder befor e fr eezing food. • Please observe the fr eezing capacity given on the r ating plate.
