There ar e two recessed handles at the fr ont of the base and at the back of the appliance at the top for improved gripping. 0 1. Grip the appliance with the recessed handles positioned as in the draw- ing, and transport the appliance.
Before Use 818 17 80-00/1 9 2. Remove the transport pr otection pieces and pull off the adhesive tape. 3. Wash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicarbonate of soda added (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger .

Remove the door fitting on the lower right (1) and r eposition the door bearing cover fr om the lower left to the right of the door (2), place the door fitting supplied in the lower left of the door (3). Carefully remove the door to the front and place on one side.

818 17 80-00/1 21 Defr osting The Fridge defr osts automatically The rear wa ll of the fridge covers with fr ost when the compressor is running, and defrosts when the compr essor is off.
22 818 17 80-00/1 • Always leave warm food to cool down to room temper ature befor e placing in the fridge. • Try to avoid keeping the door open for long periods or opening the door too frequently as warm air will enter the cabinet and cause the compre ssor to switch on unnecessarily often.
