5 All the saf ety and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated. Read all of the instr uctions giv en here and ret ain them for later use. Unplug this projector from A C power supply before cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
6 Openings in the cabinet are provided f or ventilation. T o ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from ov erheating, these openings must not be bloc k ed or cov ered. CA UTION Hot air is exhausted from the e xhaust vent. When using or installing the projector , the following precautions should be taken.
7 Use the projector properly in specified positions. Improper positioning may reduce the lamp lif e and result in sev ere accident or fire hazard. This projector can project the pict ure in upw ard, down ward, or inclined position in perpendicular direction to the horizontal plane.
8 Use the hand grip when moving the projector . Replace the lens cap and retract the adjustable f eet to prev ent damage to the lens and cabinet when carr ying. When the projector is not in use for an e xtended period, put it into a suitable case to protect the projector .

Set this function properly in accordance with the projector ’ s inst allation method. Other wise, the cooling fans will not w ork properly and that causes malfunctions of the projector and decreases the lamp lif e.

59 When the projection lamp of the projector reac hes its end of lif e, the Lamp replacement icon appears on the screen and LAMP REPLA CE indicator lights yellow . R eplace the lamp with a new one promptly . The timing when the LAMP REPLA CE indicator should light is depending on the lamp mode.
60 Be sure to reset the Lamp counter af ter the lamp is replaced. When the Lamp counter is reset, the LAMP REPLA CE indicator stops lighting and the Lamp replacement icon disappears.
