8 I-3. Safety In formation In order t o ensure the saf e oper ation of the access point and its user s, please r ea d and a ct in accordance with the following saf ety instructions. 1. The access point is designe d for indoor use only; d o not place the ac ce ss point outdoor s.
9 II. Quick Installa tion Your wireless access poi nt can be up and running in a matter of minutes. If you need to make more detailed co nfigurations after setup, you can refer to III. Browser Based Config uration Interface. 1. Connect on e end of an Ethernet cable to the E thern et port on your computer .
10 Y ou wi ll then be prompte d to enter the device ’ s username and passwor d. The def ault username is admin and the d ef ault passwor d is 1234 . Fr om here, you will see the browser base d configur atio n interf ace home scree n.
11 Select “ Basic Set tings ” fr om the menu on the left side of the scree n. “ Basic Settings ” allows y o u to set the mode of the access point and c onfigur e th e settings accor dingly .
