The power button controls the power to the unit. In the cooling mode, room air is cooled and hot air is exhausted to the outside through the air exhaust hose.
This portable air conditioner is designed to exhaust most or all water condensed from the air (in cooling mode). In high humidity situations, the internal water reservoir may fill. The unit will automatically shut off and the water light will turn on.

. Maintenance Maintenance and Stor age if , 1. If you are not going to use this unit for a long time, be sure to drain the water from the reservoir by removing the drain cap and the rubber plug. 2. Before storing the unit, run it in fan mode for a few hours to dry any moisture on the coils to prevent mold.
For Maximum Performance and Efficienc y: 1. Do not cover the air outlet (exhaust) whil e in use. 2. Do not place the unit in front of curtain s or drapes- to ensure they do not obstruct the air intake. 3. Minimize the length of the exhaust hose. 4. Make sure the exhau st hose is as straight as po ssible.
Troubleshooting Why is my air conditioner not functioning at all ? o Move the air conditioner to another outlet, and test the outlet with a voltage tester or another appliance that is known to be non-defective. If the outlet is bad, contact an electrician and move the air conditioner to another outlet.
Troubleshooting Why are the control panel lights blinking randomly? o Y our air conditioner may have a minor electrical fault. Move the unit to another outlet or unplug the unit and plug it in again. o Y our air conditioner may be plugged into an outlet that cannot supply the correct voltage to the unit.
