MPK49 FACTORY PRESET LISTINGS PRESET # PROGRAM DESCRIPTION 1 LiveLite This preset is designed to be used with the Ableton Li ve Lite software DAW, included with the MPK49. 2 Reason This preset supports the Reason Remote proto col with supplied codec files.
USING THE MPK49 WITH REASON Reason is a software program that allows for vast control of its parameters. The problem with having a lot of controllable items is the limit of physica l space and the cost of building hardware c ontrollers that can a ccommodate hundreds o r thousands of controllers.
The Vyzex Editor included on the CD is a great way to cust omize or restore p resets to their factory co ndition! The MPK49 preset for Reason makes u se of pad banks A, B and C for playing notes. With these three pa d banks you get a 3-octave range of pitch control.
