Pull upper tube (F) out of fiberglass lo wer tube 127-152 mm (5-6 in.), then slide (F) bac k into fiberglass lower tube e xposing inner drive shaft (G). Align and join star shaped drive end of inner d r ive shaft (G) with cutting attachment shaft (H).

Reduce the chain tension if y ou feel tight spots . 7. When chain is properly tensioned, tighten guide bar n uts securely .

Keep movable parts of the attachment away from ob jects that could become entangled or thrown, and surfaces that could cause loss of control.

Starting Warm Engine The star ting procedure is the same as Cold Star t e xcept DO NO T close the choke , and do not depress throttle trigger to wide open position. The attachment should not move at id le, otherwise serious personal injury may resu lt.

Breathing CO can cause unconsciousness, serious injury, or death . Exhaust can cause serious burns. ALWAYS position unit so that exhaust is directed away from yo ur face and body.

Always disconnect spark plug wire before servicing guide bar and saw chain. This saw chain is VERY sharp, wear heavy gloves to protect your hands when handling it.

Apply clean oil and rotate sa w chain slowly to wash a wa y filings . 8. If saw chain is co ated or clogged with resin, clean in ker osene, then soak in oil.
