Setting up your T V 13 Connec ting to an antenna T o connec t a combination VHF/UHF antenna (single 75 ohm cable or 300 ohm twin-lead wire) or cable TV: • Connect the 75 ohm cabl e from the combination VHF/UHF antenna or cable T V to the antenna input ja ck on th e TV .
14 Setting up your T V T o connec t a combination VHF /UHF antenna with separate 300 ohm VHF and UHF twin-lead wire s: 1 Connect the 300 ohm UHF twin- lead wire to the combiner (not-inclu ded). 2 Connect the 300 ohm VHF t win-lead wire to the 30 0-75 ohm matching transforme r .
Setting up your T V 15 T o co nn ect a ca bl e c on vert er b o x: 1 Connect a 75 ohm coaxial cable from the cabl e TV wall outlet to the antenna inpu t jack on the back of the converter box. 2 Connect a 75 ohm coaxial cabl e from the antenna out jack on the back of the conver ter box to the an tenna input jack on the back of y our TV .

Check t he owner's manua l provided with each component for the location of vid eo and audio inputs a nd outp uts.

Using your T V 27 V iewing the D T V program guide Electronic program guides (EPG) are available for some digital channels or programs. Y ou can view this informat ion by doing the follo wing: T o view the EPG: 1 Press GUIDE . The EPG open s 2 Press VOL+ or VOL– to select a program.
28 Using your T V 3 Press CH + or CH – to selec t BLUE SCREEN , then press VOL+ or VOL – to select OFF or ON . 4 Press MENU one or more t imes to close the OSD . Displaying clos ed captions This TV has the capabilit y to decode and display closed captioned TV programs.

The FUNCTION me nu opens. 3 Press CH + or CH – to se le c t NTSC CAPTION , then pr ess VOL+ or VOL – to selec t OFF , C1 , C2 , C MUTE , TEX T1, or TEX T2 . Note: C1 and C2 display closed captions ac ro ss the bottom of the TV screen.

When you block a rating , that rating and all higher ratings a re blocked. T o set parental controls or to temporarily override a b locked rating , you must set a password.
