Engl ish Quick Star t Guide F ollow these steps to install the LabelW ri ter printer and print your first label. 1. Unpacking your LabelW riter Prin ter NO TE D o not plug the printer into your c omputer until asked to do so during the soft w are installation.
2 Become familiar with the printe r ’ s major compon ents . See F igure 2. LabelWrit er Printer F e atur es Y our LabelW riter prin ter is a direct th ermal printe r and does not use ink or t oner . Instea d , the printer uses heat from a th ermal pr int head to print on specially treated labels.
3 2. Installing the Sof twar e NO TE D o not connect the print er to your computer until instructed to do so during the soft w are installation. T o install the sof twar e on a W indow s system 1 In ser t th e LabelWrite r CD i nto your CD -R OM dri ve .

T o connect the cables 1 Plug the power cor d into the powe r adapter . See F igur e 4. 2 Plug th e power ad apter into the power con nec tor on the bo ttom of the printer .
5 4. Loading Labels The LabelWriter T win T urbo printer holds two label rolls, so you can print t w o types of la bels wi thout ha ving to change the label r oll . F or exampl e, lo ad addr ess labels on the left side and post age labels on the r ight side .
6 7 Align the left edge of the label with the left edge of the label f e ed slot and inser t the label into the slot. See F igur e 10. The printer f eeds the labels , stopping at the beginning of the first label. If the prin ter does not feed the labels, make sure the first la bel is fully inser ted and then pr ess the form-f eed button.

8 P rinting P ostage with D Y MO Stamps ™ Now you can print postage right fr om your desktop using your LabelW riter T win T urbo label printer . All you need is D YMO Stamps ™ soft war e, y our LabelWrit er printer , D YMO Stamps labels , and an Internet connection .
9 4 Select Buy P ostage from the Accou nt menu and purchase postage for yo ur account. 5 Select LabelW riter T win T urbo from th e Prin ter drop-down list under P rinter Selec tion . 6 Assuming you loaded th e D YMO Stamp s labels in the right side of the pr in ter , selec t Rig ht R ol l as the Label Roll and click OK .
