7 Preparing Your Digital Video Camera ● Step 1 Insert two "AA" batter ies into the batte ry compartment. ● Step 2 When inserting SD/M MC memory card, fo llow the icon show n in the compartment to ins ert or re move the card push-and-pull.

9 Setup Mode Press the Set button to ente r the setup menu . Y ou can configure the basic settings: 1. Beep --Sound On/O ff . 2. Date/Time- -Date & time settings. 3. Language- - L a n g u a g e s e t t i n g s . 4. Format- -Format the internal memory or memory cards.
10 Formatting the Memory Card Format y our SD/MMC memory card be fore using it to store pictures. ● Step 1. Press to move down to the Format option. ● Step 2. Press Enter butto n to bring up the "Cancel/OK" Menu. ● Step 3. T o format the memory card, select “ ok ” on th e screen and then press the Enter button .
11 Recording Vi deo Video is recorded at a rate of approximately 15 frames per second in AVI format. ● Step 1. Press the Shutter button once to start r ecording video. You will see live views of the subject s or scenes yo u are recording on th e LCD.

16 Image Quality Setting ● Step 1. Use to select on the menu b a r . ● Step 2. Press the Enter button to enter the Image Quality menu. ● Step 3 Use to s elect Fine , Normal or Basic ● Step 4 Press Enter button to conf irm your select ion, or press Menu button to cancel it.
17 ● Step 3 You can use to select ON , Off . ● Step 4 Press Enter button to confir m your selection, or pr ess Menu button to cancel it. To Take a picture with self-timer With the Self-timer funct ion set to “On, ” the Self-timer icon appears at the center of the LCD d isplay .

Flash The Flash function is act ive only in Capture Mode . The Flash has two statuses. Pressing the Right arrow button can sequence it in to Auto and OFF status.

20 Voice playback V oice files are indic iated by a voice icon . Press the Enter butto n to start playin g the voi ce file. Press t he Menu button to pause play . Press Enter button to stop playi ng back voice. During voice playback, pre ss the [ ] 、 [ ] butto n to adjust volume and then the volume appears on left side of the screen.
21 Playback Menu Deleting Ph otos Y ou can choose to delete a si ngle photo or all the phot os stored in the Digital Video Camera. Deleting a Single Photo ● Step 1. Make sure that the Digi tal Video Camera is in pl ayback mode. Example: Move to the pic ture which is going to be delete d.
22 ● Step 5. Press Enter to confir m your deletions. The image sh own on the display will then be dele ted and the prev ious image comes up. If you press the Menu button, the screen will return to step 2. ● Step 6. Select Cancel to stop deleti ng operation and go back to the Playba ck Menu.
23 ● Step 5 Press Enter button to confirm Delete A ll , then bring u p current picture with Delete menu: Cancel an d Delete All. ● Step 6 Press to select the Delete All opt ion on the menu screen, an d then press Enter button to confirm the e rasing operation again.
24 ● Step 3. Press Enter button to bring up Prot ect Menu . If press Menu button, the scre en will return to step 3 . ● Step 4. Press to select one im ag e for protection. ● Step 5. Press the Enter button to pro tect the current i mage. The lock icon w ill appear on the top right corne r of the image th at you selected.
25 ● Step 3. Press to sele ct the Start on the menu screen, and then pr ess Enter button to s lide show all of your p ictures. ● Step 4. Press the Enter button to stop slide show.
26 ● Step 3. Press the Enter button to bring up DPOF Menu: Set All and Set One . If you press the Menu button, the scr een will return to step 2 . ● Step 4.
27 ● Step 4. Press to select Set One option on the menu screen, and then press Enter bu tton to ente r menu for setting single pic ture to DPOF file. ● Step 5. Press to select single picture, use to adjus t print number , number zero means this pictu re is not set in DPOF file .

31 Y ou can use the PC Camera and Mass Storage functions of the camera via PC. T o install t he camera driver: ● Step 1. Insert the software CD-ROM supplied with the pa ckage into the CD-ROM drive. ● Step 2.
