3 Caution: Do not wrap the mains cord around t he body of the toas ter during or af ter use. The cord s torage facility is located on t he underside of the toast er . • Unpack the toaster from all packaging and remove any stickers. Wipe the outside of the toaster using a moist cloth.
• When the toasting cycle is complete the slices will pop up automatically and are ready for removal from the slots. If the slices are difficult to remove safely , you can lift the lever upwards for extra high lift. • T o immediately stop toasting at any time, lift the toast lever up lightly .
5 Stale bread toasts more quickly than fresh bread. Therefore, set the toasters browning control to a slightly lower setting. When toasting two slices of bread, it is recommended they be of equal size and freshness. If you wish to reheat toast that has not yet been buttered, set the toast browning control to 1 .
6 Empty the tray , wipe clean and replace the tray into the toaster . Do not hold the toas ter upside down to remo v e the crumbs. If toast ge ts stuc k in the slot, un plug the appliance and w ait until t he toaster has cooled down before remo ving slices.
