INSERTING DRY CELL BATTERIES + ❑ mm Open the battery compartment inside the unit and inserf two size AA (R6) batteries with the 0 and O marks correctly aligned. Battery replacement + ❑ Replace the batteries with new ones when the OPE/ BATT indicator becomes dim.

TUNING INTO A STATION - 1 Turn the HOLD/LOCK/OPEN switch to LOCK. 2 Press RADIO ON/OFF BAND repeatedly to select a band. 3 Press + or - to tune in to a station. After listening, keep RADIO ON/OFF BAND pressed for about 1 second to turn off the power. For quick tuning Keep either i- or - pressed for 1 or 2 seconds.
