INTRODUCTION This document contains supplemental guidelines for installing the Qt-series control and air dis- tribution for the Dometic auxiliary air conditioning system on the V olvo L-4 chassis.
V olvo L-4 Installation Guidelines ENGLISH 5 LOCA TING THE COMPONENTS The Dometic remote auxiliary air conditioning system consists of two basic components: an outside condensing unit, which contains the condenser and an exhaust fan, and an inside unit, which contains the compressor , heater , evaporator and blower (CHEB).

This will make it less likely for the air flow to be blocked by something in the luggage compartment, and will also give you easy access to the quick-connect refrigerant fittings with a wrench.
