GENERAL INFORMATION DODGE USAF bearings c onform with all a ppropriate AFBMA standards. They are avai l able in either adapter or direct mounting styles for 1 7 / 16 " through 8”, and up to 220 mm diameter shafts.

5. Place shaft with bearing into lower half while caref ully guiding the seal rings into the housing grooves. 6. Bolt lower half of the non-expans ion bearing to the base. Move shaft endwise so that space r ring can be inserted as shown on sketch A . Center all other bearings on same shaft in their housing seats.
Use Table 5 as a general guide for regreasing a nd bearings. A small amou nt of grease at freque nt intervals is preferable to a large amoun t of grease at infrequent intervals. For special app lications involving high speeds or high temperatures Consult D O DGE.
