This unit is designed to operate on AC household current or DC (batteries). AC Use the AC polarized line cord included with the unit for operation on AC power . Insert one end of the AC line cord into the AC power jack on the rear of the unit and the other end (with the 2 blades) into a conve- niently located AC outlet having 120V , 60Hz.

11 CHANGING THE DISNEY F ACEPLA TE (CONTINUED) Then position the two tabs at the left and right sides of the lid into the left and right CD compartment holes. Tabs Faceplate 7 Press in on the two tabs at the top of the lid and push the lid to complete insertion.
OPERA TION 12 Press the POWER button to turn the unit on. 1 Slide the FUNCTION switch to the AM or FM position to select a band. 2 Rotate the TUNING control to select a station. When an FM stereo station is tuned in, the FM stereo indicator will appear in the display .
OPERA TION (CONTINUED) 13 Press the POWER button 1 to turn the unit on. Slide the FUNCTION switch 2 to the CD position to select CD. 1 2 1 Open the CD compartment door by pressing the CD Door Open/Close Area. Place a CD on the center spindle, with the printed label side facing front.
OPERA TION (CONTINUED) 14 TO PLA Y A CD (CONTINUED) T o repeat a single track, press the REPEA T button 1 once; “RPT” will blink in the display . Press the Skip/ Search o 2 or n 3 button to select the specific track that you wish to repeat.
OPERA TION (CONTINUED) 15 With the power on and the unit in the Stop mode, press the PROG button; “PRG” and “01” will blink in the display . 1 Use the Skip/Search o 1 or n 2 but- ton to select the first track to be pro- grammed. 2 1 2 Press the PROG button again; the selected track has now been pro - grammed and counted as program 1.
