12 electrolux daily use For washing in the dishwasher the follo wing cutlery and dishes are not suitable: - Cutler y with wooden, horn, china or mother-of- pearls handles. - Plastic items that are not heat resistant. - Older cutler y with glued par ts that are not temperature resistant.
daily use electrolux 13 Open the door and slide out the baskets to load the dishes . The lower basket The lower bask et is designed to take saucepans, lids , plates, salad bowls , cutler y etc. Ser ving dishes and large lids should be arranged around the edge of the basket, ensuring that the spra y arms turn freely .
T o make loading of the cutler y bask et easier , lower the cutler y bask et handle. F or best results we recommend you use the cutler y grids. If the size and dimensions of the cutler y do not allo w the use of the grids, the y can be easily hidden.
daily use electrolux 15 The cutler y bask et is in two par ts which can be separated to giv e greater loading fle xibility . T o separate the two par ts , slide them hor izontally in opposite directions and pull them apar t. T o reassemble, re v erse the procedure.
16 electrolux daily use Adjusting the height of the upper basket If washing v er y large plates y ou can load them in the lower bask et after moving the upper basket to the higher position. T o move to the higher position proceed as f ollows: 1. Pull out the basket until it stops .

Please obser v e the manuf acturer’ s dosing and storage recommendations as stated on the detergent packaging. Using no more than the correct amount of detergent contributes to reducing pollution.
18 electrolux daily use Use of T ablets These products are detergents with a combined cleaning, rinsing and salt functions. The y can also contain other diff erent agents depending on which kind of tablets y ou choose («3 in 1», «4 in 1», «5 in 1» etc.
Select and start a washing program Select the washing programme and delay start with the door slightly opened. The star t of the program or the countdown of the dela y star t will occur only after the c losure of the door . Until then it is possible to modify the settings.
Cancelling the "delay start" T o cancel a delay star t in progress you ha ve to reset the dishw asher . Simultaneously press and hold the two progr am buttons positioned ov er the word Cancel , until all the program lights illuminate . Cancelling a dela y star t also cancels the selected washing program.
The dishwasher drying system is provided with a de vice that allows air to circulate inside the dishwasher to pre vent residual steam recondensing on the dishes as water droplets . Once the washing progr am has ended this device operates intermittentl y for another 20 min utes, as long as the dishwasher is switched on.
