5 Setup and Pairing To use the BT - 105 with your MAC, PC, or iPad, mak e sure the host compu ter you are using is in discovery mode . (Check the instruction s that came with your co mputer or Bluet ooth USB dongle. For i Pad us ers , go int o “ Setting s ” , then select “ Bluetooth ” and make sure it is turned on).
6 Note: You mu s t reset pai ring for both devices ev ery time you change to a diff erent h ost devic e such as us ing it with y our desktop com puter a nd then with y our iPad . Turning off the BT - 105 Turn off the BT - 105 by pressing the red b utton fo r 2-3 second s until the LED tur ns red.
7 To change the mode back t o the iPad mode, re peat the same procedure using the fo otswitch in Port 3 - 4 (the jack c losest to the USB port). K eep t he sw itch depre ssed unt i l you see the fir st b link, the n rele ase the footswitch and pow er switch.
8 iOS Virtual Keyboar d Some appl ications re quire the use of the k eyboa rd to enter text or to interact w ith the application. Sinc e the BT - 105 is an exter nal keyboard, the iPad or other iOS device by default disables it s own v irtual k eyboard.
9 If the BT - 105 is turned off while charging, th e LED indicator w i ll not light up , but it will still charge . If you leave the B T - 105 on while it i s charging, the LED will rema i n lit a nd you can monitor the charging status. Red is a low charge, soli d yellow is a 75% charge and or ange/ green i s a full charg e.
10 Tongue and Bite Switches Tongue an d Bite Sw itches are also available fr om AirTurn or y our dealer for sp ecial use s . They are used the sa m e way as any other momentar y switch. See the sp eci fic instructions in c luded with each switch. T roubleshooting The BT - 10 5 is not connecting or pairing 1.

13 DIGIT The AirT urn BT- 105 DIGIT is a combin ation Bluetooth transceiver that may be us ed in a var iety of settings. I t offer s a keypad with six switches. T he switches are a lso used to change the u nit’s mode and se nd differe nt character s in each mode.

15 Two ATFS - 2 Pedal Board Kit The BT - 105 or DIGIT may be purchased w ith 2 ATFS - 2 si lent footswitch es. T his option is ideal for many app lications in w hich two sw itches are ne eded. For example , it could be used to go forward or backwards in a page - turning ap plication.
16 F our ATFS - 2 Pedal Boa rd Kit The four AT FS - 2 Pedal B oard K it comes equi pped w ith either th e BT- 105 or the DIGIT . Each footswitch is pl ugged in to the ports in o rder from left to right.
17 BOSS FS -5U Footswitch es The BT - 105 or DIGIT may be used with one or tw o BOSS FS - 5U footswitch es. S pecial c ables fr om your deal er or AirT urn are required and are s upplied w hen it is purchased a s a kit. For ex tra convenien ce in using the FS - 5U, you can sl ide the tw o s witch es together.
18 BOSS FS - 6 Footswitch es The BT - 105 or DIGIT may also be used w ith the BOSS FS - 6 footswitch. Note that the FS - 6 require s a se parate 9V battery to function. AirTurn s upplies specially made cable s to fun ction w ith the FS - 6. You ca n also ma ke your own cables with i nstructions avai lab le on the AirTurn w ebsite.
