960 E f Owner’s Manual 5 Assembl y Ins tructions Step 1: Rear Stabilizer Bar 1. Place rear stabilizer bar under rear mainframe and align the screw holes. 2. Insert and tighten these two (M8 x 16mm) screws, split lock washer and flat washers using 6mm Allen wrench.

If the inten- sity is too low , the stress levels are ineffective. If the intensity is too high, injur y or fatigue may set your exercise program back as you tr y to recover .
8 960 E f Owner’s Manual W ork out guidelines (continued) 1 . Always stretch before your workout to loosen muscles, and after wards to cool down. 2. The first few minutes of your workout should be devoted to warming up muscles before a vigorous workout, and building your heart rate slowly .
960 E f Owner’s Manual 9 Console Glossar y of T erms • Idle mode = Console is reset and waiting for an entr y . The dot matrix display window will flash “DB”. If no rpm for 5 minutes, the console will enter power save mode and the display will be shut off.
10 960 E f Owner’s Manual Console (continued) • If 10 seconds passes and no other key is pressed, the program will resume back to previous activities. • Re-start a program: The user may re-start a program after the program ends. Simply press “Start” key during Cool Down or W orkout Summary mode.

Level Up/Down keys: • During program setup, press “Level Up/Down key” to adjust the following – age, weight, time & HR setting. • After program started, press “Level Up/Down key” to adjust the level, difficulty level or HR setting during exercising.
14 960 E f Owner’s Manual W ork out Prog r ams W ARM UP Getting Started The 960Ef automatically initiates a 3-minute W arm Up at the beginning of each pro- gram. It is designed to prepare your body for an intensive workout and to reduce the possibility of injur y during workout.
During the Program Data Display • Once it is started, the data display window will display the default workout data of “calories, speed & level”. Press “Select” button to switch the data dis plays to “watts, distance & RPM”. • The time will display “3:00” and continuing down.

QUICK ST ART Getting Started A Quick Start program is for someone who wants to bypass the setup mode and star t their workouts right away . By picking Quick Start program, you are accepting the default values for calculations.

The Pulse window will blink the Rest HR setting and adjust. Until the adjustment is done, it then will resume to display actual HR.
26 960 E f Owner’s Manual Maintenance CAUTION – FOR SAFE OPERA TION Always inspect hardware prior to any exercise session. Look for loose hardware, loose pedals, loose handrails, loose cranks and frayed wires. Repair or replace any dam- aged or worn parts, tighten all loose hardware.
