4 Introduction The 108Mbps SuperG Wireless PCI Adapter is an advanced IEEE 802.11b/g com patible, high performance wireless card that supports data transfer speeds of up to 54 Mbps o r 108Mbps in SuperG mode.

6 Inst allat ion Considerations Designed to traverse distances up to 900 feet (~300 meters), the 108Mbps SuperG Wireless PCI Adapter lets you access your network fr om your computer vir tually anywhere you want.
7 Inst alling the PCI Card and Utility Note: Be sure to power off you r computer before inserting t he PCI adap ter. Step 1 Insert the PCI adapter into an availabl e PCI slot and turn on your computer. Step 2 Windows will detect the adapter a nd re quest for a driver.
8 Step 5 Clic k Next to accept the default destinatio n fold er to install the software or click Bro wse to manually s elect a differen t destination folder. Step 6 Clic k Next at the Select Program Folder screen. Step 7 Cl ick Continue Anyway at the Windows Logo Screen.

10 Inst all D river Note: After restarting the computer, W indows will launch the Found New Hardware Wizard . The Found New Hardware Wizard will look different depending on your operating system. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
11 For Windows 98SE and ME, browse to D:Driver folder (where D is t he let t er of your CD driv e) and clic k OK then Next . Insert the Wind ows 98SE or ME CD if you are promp ted to do so. Step 3 Clic k Continue Any w ay at the Windows Logo Screen. Step 4 Clic k Finish .
12 Using the WLAN Monitor Note to Windo ws XP Users: You must disable the Wireless Zero Configurati o n Utility in order to use the WLAN Monitor. Please refe r to the foll owing steps to disabl e the W i reless Zero Configurati on Utilit y.
13 To open the PCI Adapter’s utili ty, double-clic k on the WLAN Monitor Icon in the system tray. The utility automatic ally adds an avail abl e wireless network to t h e Preferred WLANs box. If no SSID is a dded, or if the SSID is w rong, plea se refer to the following step s to join the appropriate wireless network.
14 Step 3 Verify the SSID you have selected is in the Preferred WLANs box and click Apply . Step 4 A blue circle will sur round the SSID you have chosen.
15 Configuration Tab The Configuration tab displays a list of available Access Points. Available WLANs : displays a list of available Access Points that you can connect to. To update the list, click on Refr esh . To manually add a SSID to the lis t, click on Add .
16 Configuring WEP Encryption The following screen will appear after you click on the Properties button from the Pref er red WLAN s bo x . If your existing wireless network has WEP encryption enabl ed, you need to configure the wireless adapter with the identical encryption settings in order to establish a connection.
17 Configuring WPA Encryption If your existing wireless network has WPA encryption enabl ed, you need to configure the wireless adapter with the identical encryption settings in order to establish a connection.
