3- ENG D27935 IMPOR T ANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read Operation Manual. Do not operate equipment until you have read Operation Manual for Safety , Assembly , Operation, and Maintenance Instructions.
4- ENG D27935 • Fuel or oil can leak or spill and could result in fir e or breathing hazar d, serious injury or death can result. Fuel or oil leaks will damage carpet, paint or other surfaces in vehicles or trailers.
5- ENG D27935 • Reactive force of spray will cause gun/wand to move, and could cause the operator to slip or fall, or misdirect the spray . Improper control of gun/wand can result in injuries to self and others. • Do not overreach or stand on an unstable support.
6- ENG D27935 The powerful spray from your pr essure washer is capable of causing damage to surfaces such as wood, glass, automobile paint, auto stripping and trim, and delicate objects such as flowers and shrubs.

8- ENG D27935 2. Connect wand to gun. Tighten securely . 3. Attach high pressur e hose to gun. Tighten securely . 1. Place handle assembly onto frame and connect handle to frame. NOTE: Knobs are assembled to inside of frame. 4. T o Assemble Accessories Panel a.
9- ENG D27935 c. Place grooves in accessories panel assembly onto scr ews and slide panel assembly into place. d. Place screws (r emoved earlier) into the top holes and secure accessories panel assembly to handles. Do not overtighten. 5. Add engine oil (supplied) to engine.
10- ENG D27935 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS BASIC ELEMENTS OF A PRESSURE WASHER High Pressur e Pump (located inside the shroud) : Incr eases the pressur e of the water supply . Engine: Drives the high pressur e pump. High Pressur e Hose: Carries the pressurized water fr om the pump to the gun and wand.
11- ENG D27935 BASIC ELEMENTS OF ENGINE Refer to the engine manual for location and operation of engine controls. Choke Control: Opens and closes carbur etor choke valve Throttle Contr ol Lever: Controls engine speed. Starter Grip: Pulling starter grip operates recoil starter to crank engine.
12- ENG D27935 HOW TO USE WAND: Y our pressur e washer is equipped with a multi-adjustable spray wand with both high and low pressur e settings. The high pressur e setting is for cleaning and rinsing, the low pressur e setting is for applying chemicals or cleaning solutions to surfaces.
13- ENG D27935 HOW TO APPL Y CHEMICALS AND CLEANING SOL VENTS Applying chemicals or cleaning solvents is a low pressur e operation. NOTE: Use only soaps and chemicals designed for pressur e washer use. Do not use bleach. T o apply chemicals: 1. Press chemical hose onto barbed fitting located near high pressur e hose connection of pump as shown.
14- ENG D27935 ST ARTING Prior to starting, refer to your engine manual for pr oper starting procedur es for your engine type. 1. In a well ventilated outdoor area add fr esh high quality unleaded gasoline with a pump octane rating of 86 or higher . Do not overfill.
15- ENG D27935 When performing maintenance, you may be exposed to hot surfaces, water pressur e, moving parts, or fire that can cause serious injury or death! Before performing any maintenance or r epair , disconnect spark plug wire, let engine cool and release all water pr essure.
16- ENG D27935 HOW TO CLEAN THE WA TER INLET FIL TER This screen filter should be checked periodically and cleaned if necessary . 1. Remove filter by grasping end and removing it fr om water inlet of pump as shown. 2. Clean filter by flushing it with water on both sides.
17- ENG D27935 ENGINE Consult the Engine Owners Manual for the manufacturer's r ecommendations for storage. PUMP It is recommended that you follow these steps to pr otect the internal seals of the pressur e washer when STORING THE UNIT FOR MORE THAN 30 DA YS AND/OR WHEN FREEZING TEMPERA TURES ARE EXPECTED.
18- ENG D27935 TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE PROBLEM Engine will not start (see Engine Manual for further engine troubleshooting) No or low pressur e (initial use) CAUSE CORRECTION No fuel. Add Fuel. Pressur e builds up after two pulls on the recoil starter or after initial use.
19- ENG D27935 W ater leaking at pump W ater leaking at gun/wand connection No or low pressur e (after period of normal use) PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTION W and not in low pressur e. See How to Use W and paragraph in the Operation Section. Chemical screen not in chemical Clean filter .
