2 Introduction Thank you for purchasin g EBO-600E Ebook Reader. Y ou are reading the welc om e section of the EBO-600E Reader ’s User ’s Manual. This section pr ovides an overview of EBO-600E and highlig ht a few basic features so you can start reading as quickly as possible.

7 Getting St ar ted T urning On EBO-600E. • Press and hold the [Power] button for 2 seconds to turn on EBO-600E. • It may take a few moment for EBO-600E to turn on and loading the content. • If EBO-600E does not turn on, charging is required. T urning Off EBO-600E • Press and hold the Power Button for 2 secon ds to turn off EBO-600E.
8 • During charging, LED indicat or turns Red. When fully charged, LED turns blue. • The charging status is shown as below: Fully Charged Charging Battery Low Inserting a SD card • EBO-600E supports micro SD card. • T o view content in side the card, insert the card into the Micro SD card slot.
9 • Upon successful connection to PC, the reader will enter USB mode and all operati on will be halted. • Go to [My Computer], double click on the reader ’s disk to open. • Perform normal file m anagement operatio n like other USB device. Importing DRM Content s The Reader supp orts Adobe DRM contents.
10 • For first time user , you will need to get a free adobe ID from adobe website. Click on the [get an Adobe ID online] link as illustr ated: • Enter your email addr ess and complete the online form as per instructed. Authorizing PC and Re ader • Upon registration, return to the ADE window .
11 • After authorization, you will be a ble to find the Reader recognized in ADE as below . C ontents inside the Read er will be display ed on the right hand windows. • Y ou can no w start downloading or buying ebooks from online Ebook stores supporting Adobe DRM.
12 T ransferring DRM ebooks to Reader • From ADE menu, click on [All Items] on the left hand column • Items in [My Digital Editions] will be listed down in right window . • Select the desired item(s) to be transferred, <Shift> + <Left Click> to select multiple files.
13 ALL DRM activation record and data will be erased from the reader . Y ou are required to a uthorize the device with your ADE ID again. Each ADE acc ount allows activation of only 6 devices.
From Home Menu 14 When EBO-600E is turn on, you will come to the Home Menu where you will start operation of EBO-600E. The Home Menu layout is shown as below:.
15 The Home Menu consists of: 1. Reading History – displays b ooks that have been read recently 2. Books – displays ebook s stored in EBO-600E and SD card 3. Music – enter into music playing interface 4. Photo – displays photos stored in EBO-600E and SD card 5.
16 Reading Books Selecting Books • Select “Books” icon from the main menu and press [Enter]. • Use the directional key to move the cursor to the desired books from the list and press [Enter] to open the book. • Alternatively , click on the Dir ect Access Button to open the corresponding book s.
17 Enter into Option Menu In book page, press the Option button to enter the Option Menu. Option Menu contains the following: Options Function Page Jump T o jump to a specific page Add Bookmark T o bo.
18 Jump to Page • On reading page, press [Option] button and select Page Jump and the On-Screen keypad will appear on the left hand side as belo w: • Press the Numeric buttons to key in page numbe.
19 on book page to enter page number and press Enter to go the desired page. Bookmark: Add Bookmark : 1. On the book page screen, press [Option] button and the Bookmark menu will appear . 2. Select “Add Bookmark” on the menu to add a bookmark on the current reading page.
20 M u s i c 1. On the main menu, select “Music” and press [Enter] to confirm. 2. Songs stored in both SD card and built in memory are displayed in th e song list. Select the desired music file and press “Confirm” to start. 3. It supports MP3 , AAC , WMA , OGG , FLAC , W A V music formats.
21 Music Controls: T o Adjust V olume: Press “V olume +/-“ button to adjust the volume. T o Play/Pause song: Press “Play/Pause” button to play or pause the music.
22 File Explorer Select “File List” from main menu, press [Enter] button to enter . All the files and fol ders stored in EBO-600E and SD card will be listed. Select folder or file to ope n. S y s t e m S e t t i n g s Select “System Settings” and press [Enter] button t o enter the settings function.
23 Recent File Se ttings : 1. Select “ Keep Reading History ” to save the recent readings in Recent File list 2. Select “ Disable ” to deactivate this functions. The recent file list will remain empt y . 3. Select “ Clear History ” to empty and delete all the document titles from the Recent File List.
24 Auto Shut Down Settings : Press [Up/Down] button to select auto shut down time: 3mins, 5mins, 10mins, 15mins, and 20mins. Select “Disable” to disable auto shut do wn and EBO-600E will remain power on all the time until it is manuall y power off by pressing the [Power] button.
25 Managing Files Y ou will be able to access built in memor y and SD card (if SD card is plugged in) from “My Computer” after EBO-600E is connected to computer . Y ou can move, copy or delete the existing files or folders from computer . At this moment, EBO-600E is und er key lock mode.

29 A Book cannot be read • Check if the book has copyright protection. Copyright protected books are not sup ported by EBO-600E. • Check if the book format is supported by EBO-600E. EBO-600E cannot be operated during USB connection • EBO-600E cannot be operated while it is connected to a computer .
