8 ENGLISH i Play/Pause button ( 13 ) • This button will start or pause playback. • Push once to start playback, once again to pause playback, and once more to resume playback. o DISC EJECT button • Eject disc with this button while button illumination light.
9 ENGLISH #1 F AST SEARCH ( 6 ), 1-MIN.SKIP button #2 F AST SEARCH ( 7 ) 1-MIN.SKIP button • 1-MIN.SKIP: When one of these buttons is short pushed, the playback position skips approximately 1 minute in the forward ( 6 ) or reverse ( 7 ) direction.
10 ENGLISH q T rack, minute, second and frame displays • These displays indicate current position information. w Loop mode indicat ors • DN-S3000 has Loop mode indicators which consist of A , B and two arrows. A and B marks indicate A and B points are exist.
11 ENGLISH • Each push of the i PLA Y/P AUSE ( 13 ) button switches between playback and pause. PLA Y/P AUSE ( 13 ) button illuminates solid green during playback and flashed in pause. • When the i PLA Y/P AUSE ( 13 ) button is pushed during play , the DN-S3000 pauses playback at that point.
12 ENGLISH 7 SCRA TCH q w 1 Select Scratch source q Select the source to be scratched using the SCRA TCH MODE button. Each short push of the SCRA TCH MODE button switches between MAIN and SAMPLER. MAIN: The SCRA TCH MODE button light up in orange. SAMPLER: The SCRA TCH MODE button light up in green.
13 ENGLISH 8 SEAMLESS LOOP/HOT ST ART/STUTTER r e q , w , y t , y 1 Setting the A point (loading the Hot Start data) q Push the A button to set the A point and Hot Start data loading starts. • When an A point is set, the corresponding A button and FLIP LED light and that button is set to the Hot Start mode.
14 ENGLISH 6 T rim B point u T urn Scratch Disc to move the B point 1 frame at a time. • Range for trimming B point is limited as follows. B point for Loop: Between 5 frames after A point and disc end. B point for Sampler: Between 5 frames after A point and Sampler end.
15 ENGLISH Adjust sound level The Sampler playback sound level can be adjustable. !4 Push the SAMP .VOL button, the sound level input mode is set, P ARAMETERS LED flashes and the current settings are displayed on the character display . • Start Sampler playback.

17 ENGLISH 12 PLA TTER EFFECT 1 -1 1 -2 DRAG-S (DRAG ST ART): Simulates the dragging sound of a turntable starting up from a stop mode. q The DRAG-S function can be turned on and off by pressing the DRAG-S button. 2 -2 3 -1 DUMP/RVS t The mode switches in the following order each time the DUMP/RVS button is pressed: DUMP → RVS → off.
18 ENGLISH 13 MEMO (Custom Setting Memory) CD setting information can be stored in the non-volatile memory . The stored information can be called out of the memory later , making it easy to prepare for your mixing. 1. About MEMO • Up to 5000 memo points can be stored to internal memory for later recall.

Preset mode q The preset mode is available when @5 PRESET button is pushed for more than 1 sec while DN-S3000 is in Cue, pause or no disc mode. w T urn the #0 P ARAMETERS knob to select the preset item. e After selecting an item, push the #0 P ARAMETERS knob to select the preset data.

27 DEUTSCH 7 SCRA TCH q w 1 Scratch-Quelle ausw ä hlen q W ä hlen Sie die zu scratchende Quelle unter V erwendung der SCRA TCH MODE-T aste aus. Durch jedes kurzes Dr ü cken der SCRA TCH MODE-T aste wird zwischen MAIN und SAMPLER umgeschaltet. MAIN: Die SCRA TCH MODE-T aste leuchtet orange.

30 DEUTSCH Stellen Sie den Klangpegel ein Der Sampler-Wiedergabe-Klangpegel kann eingestellt werden. !4 Dr ü cken Sie die SAMP .VOL-T aste; dadurch wird der Klangpegel-Eingangsmodus eingestellt, die P ARAMETERS LED-Anzeige blinkt und die gegenw ä rtigen Einstellungen werden auf dem Zeichendisplay angezeigt • Starten Sie die Sampler-Wiedergabe.
