DS_ND12S10A_07 172008 7 DESIGN CONSIDERA TIONS The ND 50A uses two phase and volt age mode controlled buck topology . The output can be trimmed in the range of 0.9Vdc to 3.63Vdc with a resist or from T rim pin to Ground. A remote sense function is provided and it is able to compensate for a drop from the o utput of converter to point of load.
DS_ND12S10A_07 172008 8 FEA TURES DESCRIPTIONS (CON.) Input Under-V oltage Lockout The input under-voltag e lockout prevents the converte r from being damaged while operating when the input voltage is too lo w . The lockout occurs between 7.6V to 9.0V .
DS_ND12S10A_07 172008 9 Output Capacit ance an external output capacitor(mi n 680uF) is required for stable operation. V olt age Margining Adjustment Output voltage margi n adjusting can be impleme nted in the ND modules by con necting a resi stor , R margin-up , from the T rim pin to the Ground for margining up the output voltage.
