Preliminary DS_NE1 2S20A_07272007 6 DESIGN CONSIDERA TIONS The NE12S0A0V(H)20 uses a single phase and volt age mode controlled buck topology . The output can be trimmed in the range of 0.59Vdc to 5.1Vdc by a resisto r from T rim pin to Ground. The converter can be turned ON/OFF by remote control with positive on/of f (ENABLE pin) logic.
Preliminary DS_NE1 2S20A_07272007 7 Output V oltage Programming The output voltage of the NE series is trimmable by connecting an external resistor betwe en the trim pin and output ground as shown Figure 21 and the typical trim resistor values are sho wn in T able 1.

Preliminary DS_NE1 2S20A_07272007 9 THERMAL CONSIDERA TION Thermal management is an importa nt part of the system design. To ensure prop er, reliable operation, suffici ent cooling of the power mod ule is needed over the entire temperature range of the modul e.
