Exiting the application avoids conflict s if a new map replaces an existing map. T o exit the Navigation System: 1 Ta p t h e Navig ate menu and then tap Exit .

Using the Car Charger General precautions • F or most vehicles, the engine must be running to get power to the cigarette lighter . • Do not ex pose the car charger to ex cessive heat, moisture, or gasoline.

Sometimes you may need to use the GPS Options menu. Y ou ca n use auto detect or ma nually select a COM port and baud rate.

If yo u are not currently on a known ro ad or your location is not included in t he available map, your locatio n is listed as OFF ROAD.

Local Roads calculate s routes with local roads. Ferries: When checked, routes a re calculated to include ferries where available.
