If you do n ot ha ve dis tinc tive rin g servic e, th en s et the pr inte r to rec eive fa xes m anu all y (Aut o An sw er O ff ). Th is set t ing lets you receive both voice calls and fax calls, but works best if you use voice mail more of ten. You need to turn off voic e mail when ever y ou are ex pecti ng a fax .
3 When prompt ed, enter the fax number of t he recipi ent, and then press . How do I kno w that the fax w as sent successful ly? You can se t the prin ter to pri nt a confi rmati on page , or tran smissi on repo rt, eve ry time you send a fa x. This r eport inc ludes the dat e and time that the fax was s ent.
When you enable this option , all the faxes that you receive are autom aticall y forwarded unti l you disable it. To disable fax forwarding, return to the Fax Forward menu, and then select Of f . Can I bloc k f axes? You ca n blo ck faxe s from s pe cific n umbers .
