Y ou can use the manual feeder to make quick runs of p aper types or sizes that are not currently loaded i n the paper t ray .

Print ing 47 6 Printing Manually F eeding a Print Job The manual feeder is located at th e front of your printer and can only feed one s heet of print media at a time. When using the m anual feeder , send t he print job t o the printer b efor e loading the print media.

Print ing 49 Printing on Both Sides of the P aper (Manual Duple x) P rinting on both sides of the paper r educes printing costs. Although you ca n use T ra y 1 or the 550- sheet tray t o print the f irst side of the dupl e x job, only use T ray 1 to print the second side.

The Cancel Job light sequence is displayed on the operator panel while the job is being cancelled. F r om the pr inter operator pan el P r ess and release Cancel to cancel the job currently printing.
Maintain ing Y our Printer 55 7 Maintaining Y our Printer Replacing the T oner Cart ridge Y ou can determine approximately how much ton er is left in your cartridge by p rinting the printer settings configuration sheet. This helps you decide when you might need to order re placement supp lies.

CAUTION: When replacing a toner cartridge, do not leave the new cartridge e xposed to direct light for an extended period of time.
