Please r ead t his manual carefully before using your Extra ctor Hood for the first time and then store it within easy reach for future reference.

Page 5 Preparing for installa tion The extr actor hood has t he ability to either recir culate the f ilter ed air back into the kitchen, or the filtered air can be circulated thr ough a duct to the outside of the build ing or int o the ceiling. Decide on which o ption best suits you before commencing with the in stallation.

Page 9 Replacing the light bulbs • Switch off the electricity supply . • If the b ulb ha s recently failed, it might still be very hot. All ow the glass cov er to cool befo r e attempting to re place the bulb . • Hold the glass cover and unclip the retaining ring .
Page 10 Maintenance and cle aning Important: Befor e cleaning any part of the ho od, switch the power off at the mains. Cleaning the metal grease filters. • In no rmal operation (1 to 2 hours daily), the metal gr ease filters must be cleaned every 8 to 10 weeks.
