Page 2 • Never operate the extr actor hood witho ut a grease filter . • Never leave cooking fat or oil unat- tended. Overheated fat or oil can easi ly catch fire. • Do not flambé food directly under the ex- tractor hood. The flames pose the risk of the grease filter catching fire.
Page 3 Prep aring for inst allation. The extractor hoo d has the ability to ei- ther r ecirculate the filtered air back into the kitchen, or to vent the filtered air through an outside wall. Decide on which o ption best suits you be- fore com mencing with the installation.
Page 4 10mm Inst allation. • Carefully remove the extractor hood a nd the components from the packaging. • Remove the grease f ilter ( see page 5) . • Draw a fine vertic al line on the wall f rom the rear -centre of the hob to the cei ling. • Draw another line, ho rizontal this time, where the bottom edge of the hood should be.

Page 7 Maintenance and cleaning. Important: Before cleaning any part of the ho od, switch the power off at the mains. Cleaning the m etal gr ease filters. • In normal operation (1 to 2 hours daily), the metal grease filt ers must be cleaned every 8 to 10 weeks.
