Page 3 Safety precautions Before washing, check all clothe s for loose buttons and tears. Check pockets for coins , pins or oth er small articles. Close zips and fasteners. W ash small articles inside a pillow slip. Do not wash clothes soaked in petr ol, thinners, vegetable oil or any other flammable liquids.

Page 5 Installation—continued INLET HOSES • Connect the respecti ve inlet hos es to the hot a nd cold water taps and t o the machine’ s inlet fittings.
Page 6 Loading t he machine PREP ARA TION • Close all zippers, snaps and hooks to pr event them from snagging other article s. • Remove pins, and other hard items to pr event them from scratching the machine. • Empty all pockets and tu rn them inside out.

Page 8 ECONOMY PROGRAMME This programme saves wate r and is ideal for washing lightly soiled cl othes. Progra mme selection FUZZY LOGIC PROGRAMME This machine has Fuzzy Logic sensors. These enable it to evaluate each load placed in the drum and to sele ct and modify a wash programme to suit the load.
Page 9 Time dela yed start The wash cycle co mpletion time may be delayed by 2 to 48 hours. This featur e is particu- larly useful when you are at work and only want t he machine to finish washing just be- fore you arrive hom e. T o cancel the “time Delayed S tart” press the power button.
Page 10 • Add a measured amount of deter gent to th e detergent drawer . Use only deterg ent spe- cifically recommended for top loading wash ers and follow the manu facturer ’ s instruc- tions. • If required, add a measure of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach inlet.
Page 11 Starting the machine ST AR TING THE MACHINE • Close the lid. • Press the POWER ON pad. • Select the desired wash cy cle ( either fully automatic FUZZY or any of the pre- programmed washes BLANKET , ECONOMY , W OOL, SOAK or any customised pro- gramme).
Page 12 Maintenance continued CLEANING THE W A TER INLET FIL TER • Periodically clean the water inlet filter . • Remove the power plug from the wall socket. • T urn off the water taps. • Separate the inlet h ose a nd remove the mesh filter . • Clean the filter wi th an old toothbrush a nd re-fit.
