Page 3 POSITIONING THE MACHINE • The machine must stand firmly on the floor. Any instability will negatively effect its performance. • To level the machine, loosen the plastic lock nuts on the ad- justable feet using the spanner supplied. Rotate the feet until the machine stands firm and level.
Page 4 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION • The appliance must be earthed and the manuf acturer and seller do not accept responsibility for any damage due to incorrect electrical c onnection. • The three pin plug, atta ched t o th e power cord, m ust be inserted into a 15 Amp earthed wall s ocket.

Page 7 Help ful hint s • Sort washing by material type. • Adhere to garment label washing instructions. • Fasten zips to prevent them snagging other articles. • Mend loose seams and tears before washing. • Secure all loose buttons. • Empty all pockets of coins and loose objects.
Page 8 WH IT E • Select this programme for machine washable white cotton, linen, towels and sheets. • The water temperature defaults to 95°C. • A lower temperature can not be selected. ECO WHITE • Select this programme for machine washable white cotton, linen, towels and sheets.

Page 11 Other useful programmes Maintenance • To remove residual detergent, pull the dispense r drawer outward, press on the marked area of the siphon, and pull the drawer free. • To facilitate cleaning, the upper part of the fabric softener compartment may be removed.
Page 12 CLEANING THE W ATER INLE T FILTER • Water intake filters are located at the machine in let valve and at the tap end of the inlet hose. These filters prevent dirt from entering the m achine and should be cleaned periodically. (every 30 to 40 washes.
Page 13 S t ain removal guide • Stained, heavily soiled or greasy laundry ma y need to be pre-washed or soaked. • Pre-washing helps loosen soil before washing. • Soaking helps remove protein type stains like blood, milk or grass. • Hot water can set stains and should not be used .
