DS6300 OSCILLATING MIRROR MODEL 23 DS6300-105-0XX OSCILLATING MIRROR MODEL Figure A Laser Beam Output W indow 1 Oscillating mirror models are used when coverage of a la rge reading area is re quired, mainly in picket fence applications. The DS6300 scanner mou nts a dedicated optic head with integr ated oscill ating mirror driven by a linear motor.
DS6300 OSCILLATING MIRROR MODEL 24 The mirror can be deflected up to 40°. Oscillation with resp ect to the output window median axis is as ymmetrical (see figure below).
COMMON FEATURES 25 COMMON FEATURES C-BOX 100 Pinout for DS6300: The table below gives the pi nout of the C-BOX 100 termi nal block connectors. Use this pinout when the DS6300 reader is connected in a .
COMMON FEATURES 26 Mechanical Installation: The DS6300 read er can be positi oned and installe d in the best way possible as a resul t of the Step-A-Head TM feature.
COMMON FEATURES 27 Typical Installations: Standard Installation The DS6300 scann er is mounted on the ST -237 106° mounti ng bracket which guarantees a built-in Skew angle ( S in the figure belo w) of 16° with respect to the frame plane (t ypically the Ske w angle should be bet ween 10° - 20°).
COMMON FEATURES 28 Focus Adjustment: The DS6300 provides a man ual adjustme nt of the optics to optimize the reading performance by cho osing the best focus between two extreme positions. The focus adju stment is continuous and not by step; thus, allo wing an optimum adjustment around the selected pos ition.
COMMON FEATURES 29 7) Use the ▲ ( up arrow) and ▼ (do wn arrow) key to select the “E xit” item, then press the ENT (enter) key to confirm. The scanner exits the Main Menu and returns to it s current operating mode. Focus Adjustment Screw NOTE The reader display shows the focus positio n only when the laser bea m is activated.
