8 Functions NAMES AND FUNC TIONS Below is a descri ption of the functi ons of the controls . 1/29 . Open/ close bu tton Use this but ton to open an d close the disc holder. The di sc holder ca nnot b e opened during Playback. Stop p laybac k before opening t he disc holder .

11 Starting playback • Push the play /pause ( 24 ) butt on during the pa use or cue condit ion to start pl ayback mode, the play/pause ( 24 ) but ton ligh ts up green. • The point a t which playback sta rts is automatically stored in the memory as t he cue point.
12 Frame search Frame search is a funct ion for monit oring the sound at a certain sect ion of the disc and manuall y Changing t he position. Sea rching is used to set a start ing point with precision. • Dial t he jogwheel (14 ) w hile in pa use mode or cue m ode to start searching.
13 Program play 1. Push the play/pause ( 24 ) butt on to enter pause mode. 2. Push the progr. (9) button, t he player wi ll enter program mo de , indica ted by PG blinking in the LC D ( 13 ) displa y. 3. Select t he desired track by p ushing the track/trim ( 19 ) or track/trim ( 20 ) buttons .
14 Before switching off the power CAUTION: Do n ot force the di sc in when the power is sw itch ed off. Do not swit ch off the power, when t he disc is eject ing.
