4 1. W ARNINGS 1. In order to shorten the search for files , we suggest that you creat e 3 directories (for example: «music», «photos», and «videos») on the hard disk or on a large capacity memory car d and that you plac e the corr esponding files in e ach directory .

9 5. USING THE DEVICE The default language setting on your So Speaky HDMI is English. T o change the language please f ollow the instructions below: - T urn on your So Speaky HD MI - Pres s the Setup .
10 5.1 Connecting the de vic e Connect the device as shown in the il lustr ations, turn it on and follow the instructions below : Commen t : Y our So Speaky HDMI’ s def ault settings wer e configur ed in fact ory to work with the AudioVideo connection (A V or CVBS).
11 MODE DE SOR TIE A V 1. T o use the YPbPr output mode: Choose YPbPr as the output mode for the tele vision. Press the VIDEO key on the So Speaky HDMI remote to select YPbPr OUT mode. The menu will appear on the television scr een. Also connect the A V cable for sound (white and r ed) since the YPbPr cable only transmits the image .
12 HDMI Output mode 3. T o connect to a tele vision and use the HDMI output : Select HDMI mode, then press the VIDEO key on the r emote t o switch to HD MI mode. The menu will appear on the tele vision scr een. Also connect the A V cable f or sound (white and red) sinc e the YPbPr cable only transmits the image .

14 5.4 Playing Music Select the music you w ant to list en with the arro ws butt on on the remo te control and press play . If you can’ t hear the music it me ans that the music format is not support ed by the So Speaky HD MI. 5.5 Playing Videos Select the video you want to see with the arrows button on the remot e contr ol and pres s play .
15 5.6 File Management Select the FILE icon in the main menu then pres s ENTER to ac ces s the file libr ary .Select the file with the direction ke ys and pres s ENTER to play the select ed file. 16 5.7 Buttons on the F ront of the So Spe aky HDMI T o return to the main menu, pr ess the S TOP/RE TURN key , and wait f or a few sec onds. The POWER ke y turns your So Spe aky HDMI on or off . The LEFT and RIGHT keys are used for selecting the type of file you would like to see (Photos, Videos, Music, and Files).
17 5.8 Using as a Peripher al Stor age Devic e The first time it is used as a peripheral stor age devic e, a driver must be installed if the comput er ’ s stor age syst em is an older one. For the first use, turn the So Spe aky HD MI on, and c onnect it to the computer via the USB cable.
