INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS LAT-NR162 LED Tail Lights for ’66 Im pala/Caprice and ’67 Caprice MAN#650160 Kit Includes: Installation: ’66 Impala ’66 Caprice ’67 Caprice 1. Remove the original bulb connecto r from the back side of the housing. 2.
6. Remove the screw and aluminum back plate from the new LED assembly. The center hole in the ’67 Caprice is smaller and offset so ther e is a special back plate supplied for this application. LED assembly Standard back plate ’ 67 Caprice center hole back plate.
10. Place the original lens gasket into place and replace the tail light lens. 11. Replace the chrome trim and t hen tighten the screws down carefully. 12. Install the tail light assembly back into the ca r. You are now ready to wire the lights into the vehicle’s wire harness.
13. Cut off the existing light socket as it will not be used. Do not strip the wires. Trim the wires from LED assembly to appropria te length once mounted, making su re wires are routed cleanly and securely. 14. Use the supplied moisture resistant pigtail co nnectors* to attach the wires from the new LED assembly to the existing vehicle harness.
