Do not pull the power cord. • When the plug of the unit is connected to the mains outlet , the unit will be still connected to AC even if the power is turned off.

BASIC OPERA TIONS 16 SYSTEM SETTING V -MODE (When selecting RGB or Composite) According to the system of the TV to be connected, set the system of the unit to make it match the TV. Press SYSTEM button on the remote control, then choose TV TYPE. SYSTEM V-MODE • Press the V-MODE on the remote control to select RGB or Composite Video.
BASIC OPERA TIONS 17 F AST PLA Y When playing disc, you may play it forward fast or reverse it fast to find what you need. Press √√ to play forward fast. Each time you press the button, the speed of picture changes like those shown on the right. 1 Press œœ to reverse the disc fast.
BASIC OPERA TIONS 18 SELECT AUDIO LANGUAGE You can choose the language according to your choice when playing a multi- language DVD. Press “AUDIO” button, select different languages. SELECT CHANNELS (CD, MP3) You may select the right channel or left channel or stereo from a multi-channel.
MICROPHONE CONTROL 19 Microphone Set up Turn on Microphone Switch. 1 1 Connect the Microphone to the input socket on the front panel. 2 2 Insert the Karaoke disc (label side uppermost) and select track to play. 3 3 Adjust the microphone level on the front panel of DVD.
MICROPHONE CONTROL 20 TONE CONTROL You may change the pitch to adapt to your voice • Press to raise the pitch. Each time you press the button, the pitch is raised by one step. It can be raised by 7 steps at the most. • Press to lower the pitch. Each time you press the button, the pitch is lowered by one step.
PLA YING A DESIRED SCENE 21 TO SKIP SCENES IN A DISC Press √√ ■ to move to the next chapter (or track). The current chapter (or track) moves to the next chapter (or track).
PLA YING A DESIRED SCENE 22 PLA YING A DISC CONT AINING MP3 FILES When a MP3 disc is loaded, the MP3 menu screen is displayed automatically depending on MP3 disc’s folder structure. 1 Use the direction button to select the folder you want to play and press the [PLAY] button.
PLA YING A DESIRED SCENE 23 You may press the A-B to enjoy some parts repeatedly when playing a disc. 1. Press “A-B” to set a starting point A. 2. Press “A-B” twice for an end point B. Afterwards, the unit plays from A to B. 3. Press “A-B” three times to remove A-B repeat.

PLA YING A DESIRED SCENE 25 ■ You may directly enter a disc or track time to search fast on a disc. The unit plays from the point. SEARCHING CD OR CD-R WITH A DICS OR TRACK TIME SEARCHING CD OR CD-R WITH A DICS OR TRACK TIME TRACK SEARCH Press button 6 to select track 6.
PLA Y DISCS IN V ARIOUS W A YS 26 SELECT ANGLE Some discs have images with different screen angles, you may select among them. For example, when you watch a running train, you may select to watch it from the front, the left window or the right window without stopping it.
PLA Y DISCS IN V ARIOUS W A YS 27 PROGRAM PLA Y (CD, MP3 only) ■ You may program the tracks on a disc and play them in the programmed order. This function should be operated in stop mode. After the unit stops , press PROGRAM to select. 1 Press number buttons in order, according to the track to be programmed.
PLA Y DISCS IN V ARIOUS W A YS 28 DIGEST PLA Y (CD only) This function should be operated in stop mode. After the unit stops , press INTRO. The screen shows: 1 Press number buttons to select a digest mode. Press button 1 for intro mode. The unit plays each scene for about 10~20 seconds.

FUNCTION SETTING 33 DOLBY DIGIT AL SETUP ■ DUAL MONO DUAL MONO This is the output mode of the L and R signals of the set audio output. If it is set to "MIX– MONO", the function only works when the DVD being played is 2.0-channel. • STEREO Choose this option, the audio output should be a dummy stereo signal.
