8 Features Decide Which Inst allation Process to Use The cable modem enables you to connect to the Internet using either your computer ’s Ethernet or USB port. Be sure to follow the installation steps for the setup you want to use. Using the Ethernet setup enables you to use a hub to connect multiple computers to the cable modem.

11 2 Look for an entry named TCP/IP . If you see TCP/IP listed next to your Ethernet hardware device, you can now go to the section “Connecting the Cable Modem”. However , if TCP/IP is not listed, you must complete the following steps. a Click Add.
