RADIO OPERA TION 6 TO PLA Y THE RADIO 1 Slide the AUTO/OFF/ON switch to the ON po sit io n t o t urn th e u nit on ; t he POWER indicator will light. 2 Slide the FUNCTION switch 2 to t he desired band (AM or FM). 3 T une a station by turning the TUNING control.
T o play a disc from the beginning, press th e PL A Y /P AU SE ( / ) bu tt on ; t he PLA Y/RAND indicator will light. Press the PLA Y/P AUSE ( / ) button again to pause playback; the PLA Y/RAND indicator will blink. Press the PLA Y/P AUSE ( / ) button once again to continue playback.
T o repeat all of the tracks on a disc continuously , press the REAPEA T button 1 twice; the REPEA T indicator will light. Press the PLA Y/P AUSE ( / ) button 2 to begin playback. All tracks will be repeated continuously. TO CANCEL , press the REPEA T button 1 again; the REPEA T indicator will turn off.
Press and hold the CLOCK SET button. CLOCK/ALARM SETTING 9 TO SET OR RESET THE ACTUAL TIME 1 2 Press and h old the HR (Hour) 1 button to set the hour and the MIN (Minute) button 2 t o se t th e m inu te s. W hen setting the hours, make sure the PM indicator is lit if it is PM and not lit if it is AM.
CLOCK/ALARM SETTING (CONTINUED) 10 TO SET THE ALARM TO W AKE TO RADIO Set the alarm time as previously instructed. Slide the FUNCTION switch 1 to the AM or FM ST .
CLOCK/ALARM SETTING (CONTINUED) 1 1 TO SET THE ALARM TO W AKE TO BUZZER Set the alarm time as previously instructed. Slide the BUZZER/MUSIC switch to the BUZZER position. 1 2 Slide the AUTO/OFF/ON 1 switch to the AUTO position and the BUZZER/MUSIC switch 2 to the BUZZER position.
CLOCK/ALARM SETTING (CONTINUED) 12 TO ACTIV A TE THE SLEEP FUNCTION DIMMER BUTTON Slide the AUTO/OFF/ON switch to the AUTO position. 1 2 Press the SLEEP button to turn the unit on and select a 59 minutes sleep period; "59" will appear in the display and the SLEEP indicator will light.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE 13 Caring for Compact Discs • T reat the disc carefully . Handle the disc only by its edges. Never allow your fingers to come in contact with the shiny , unprinted side of the disc. • Do not attach adhesive tape, stickers, etc.
