6 Choosing the Right Cookw are Do not use cookware with jagged edges or a curved base. Make sure that the base of your pan is smooth, sits at, and is the same siz e as the cooking zone. Always c entre your pan on the cooking zone. Using Y our Hotplates 1.

Oven F unc tion Selec tor C ontrol This control is used t o select the cooking func tions available, which ar e: The oven ’ s thermostat, indicator lamp and the lower heating element will be switched on.
9 Using the Grill When using the Grill, the Grill Deector must be used. The Grill Deec tor is designed to protect the contr ol panel controls and buttons when using the oven in Grill mode and to keep the door open the specied distance .
10 Cleaning the Inside of Y our Oven • Do not use abrasive cleaners, cloths or pads to clean the enamel . • Clean the enamel on the inside of the oven when it has cooled do wn, using household detergents or an ammonia-based cleaner .
11 T o replace the door , repeat the abov e steps in reverse or der . Replacing the Oven Lamp Removing the Oven Door The oven door can easily be r emoved as follo ws: 1. Open the door completely . 2. The swivel retainers of the right hand and left hand hinges are hooked onto the metal bar above them.
