6 AC Polarized Plug 1 Unwind the AC POWER CORD (36) at the back of the unit and connect it to a power outlet. 2 Plug A/C cord into appropriate outlet. 3 This product is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other).
7 Turntable Operation T urntable Operation T urn the unit on by pressing the POWER BUTTON (13) located on the front panel. 1 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH (8) to the PHONO position. 2 Set the SPEED CONTROL SWITCH (34) to the desired speed (33 1/3, 45 or 78 rpm).
8 Cassette Operation Radio Operation 1 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH (8) to the Radio position. 2 Slide the AM/FM SWITCH (21) to the desired tuning band. 3 Select the desired radio station by rotating TUNING KNOB (20). 4 Adjust the VOLUME KNOB (9) to the desired sound level.
9 Search Forward And Reverse During Play CD Operation PLA YBACK 1 Press and hold the FORW ARD SKIP BUTT ON (6/52) or the BACKW ARD SKIP BUTT ON (7/53) to search forward or backward through the selected track. 2 Release the button at the desired point, playback will resume automatically .
10 Repeat Playback Disc Selection 1 T o repeat a single track, choose the track that you want to repeat, then press the PLA Y/P AUSE BUTTON (26/47) to start the track. Press the REPEA T BUTTON (23/48) once to repeat this track. The REPEA T INDICA TOR (24) will flash.
