2 IMPORT ANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION S To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when using the dryer, follow basic precautions, including the following: WARNING: ■ Read all instructions before using the dryer. ■ Do not place items exposed to cooking oils in your dryer.
3 Chec ki ng Y our V ent Y our dryer must be pr operly installed and vented to achieve maximum drying ef ficiency and shorten dr ying times. Use the minimum r ecomm ended installation clearances found in th e Installation Instructions. See the Installation Instructions for more informatio n.
4 4. (OPTIONAL) If yo ur dryer has a T e mperature selec t or , set it to the recommended setting for the type of fabric being dried. See Dryer Cy cle Descriptions (separate sh eet) for tempera t ure suggestions. On some models, temperature is included in the cycle selections.

7 Dr yer Results Clothes are not d rying satis factorily , dry ing times are too long, or load is too hot ■ Is the lint screen clogged with lint? Lint screen should be cleaned before each load. ■ Is the exhaust vent or outside exhaust hood c logged with lint, r e stricting a ir movement? Run the dryer for 5-10 minute s.
