Multifunc tion Selector Switch 10 The Multifunction selector switch is used when operating the main o ven. With the ex ception of the O position the main ov en light will remain on when this selector switch is used. Off With the selector in this position the main oven will not heat up .
Oven T imer Operation 11 The Main Oven (only) can be controlled by the automa tic timer . 1. Select foods which will require the same cooking time and temperature . 2. T o ensure food does not cool down and require r eheating, set the end time so the food is ready when you r equire it.
12 Know Y our Timer CL OCKF ACE The timer incorporates a 24 hour clock. Ensure the correct time of day is alw ays set , before using your cooker . SYMBOLS A ‘bell’ symbol will light up when you select a Minute Minder Period and will remain lit for the period set.
Elec tronic C lock and Automa tic Oven Timer Oper ation 13 SETTING THE TIME OF DA Y Step 1 Make sure all oven controls ar e turned Off. Step 2 Check the electricity supply to the cooker is turned on. Step 3 When switched on the display will show 0.00 and the A uto symbol , flashing intermittently .
Elec tronic C lock and Automa tic Oven Timer Oper ation 14 Step 3 Press and hold in the C ook Period button. The display will read 0.00 with the ‘ cookpot ’ symbol lit. Step 4 With the Cook P eriod button still held in, set the required Coo k P eriod using the “+” and “–” buttons.

Elec tronic C lock and Automa tic Oven Timer Oper ation 16 O THER NOTES ON TIMER OPERA TION 1. When cooking Automatically the Cook P eriod can be checked at an y time simply by pressing the C ook Period button. 2. When cooking Automatically the End Time can be checked at any t ime by simply pr essing the End Time button.
The grill pan handle is detachable from the pan, to facilitate cleaning and st orage. The grill pan handle can be fixed as f ollows: Step 1 Remove the screw and washers from the grill pan bracket (a). Step 2 T ilt the handle ov er the recess (b). Step 3 Slide it towards the centre of the pan (c).
Y our cooker is not fitted with a conven tional grill. Creda have dev eloped a Solarplus high speed grill which is designed to reduce your grilling time s.
Step 1 Ensure that the timer is set to manual. Step 2 Place the shelf in the correct position (see Grilling Guide). Place the food/grill pan on the shelf , positioned centrally und er the grill element. Lea ve the top door fully open. Step 3 T urn knob (B) clock wise to select grill function setting: Set to: F or Half Grill (Left hand side only).

The top ov en should be used to cook small quantities of food . T he oven is designed so that the grill element operates at a r educed heat output, this is combined with a heating element situated underneath the floor of the ov en.
Step 1 Ensure that the timer is set to manual. Step 2 Place the shelf in the correct position (see Oven T emperature C har ts). Step 3 Select the required cooking temperature (100–220˚C) using control (B) (see T op O ven T emperature Charts).
Note: If soft margarine is used for cake making, temperatures recommended b y the manufacturers should be followed. Main Oven - F an Grilling 25 F an grilling is a combination of heat from the grill element and the o ven fan circulating the hot air around the food . Joints of meat and poultry will be browned as if they were cooked on a rotisserie or spit but more economically as the door left closed.

Main Oven - C on v ec tion Ov en 28 Main Oven - F an Oven Important NEVER line the shelves, the floor or the sides of the ov en with aluminium foil as ov erheating and damage may result. The oven is hea ted by elements at the top of the ov en and underneath the floor of the oven.
Main Oven - F an Oven C ook er y Notes 29 Since a fan oven hea ts up more quickly , and generally cooks food at a low er temperature than a conv entional oven, pre-hea ting the oven is often unnecessary . H owever , foods such as bread , scones, Y orkshire pudding, do benefit from being placed in a pre-heated o ven.

‘S ’ Slow C o ok Setting 33 This is used for slow c ooking, keeping food warm and warming plates for short periods. Extra care should be taken when warming bone china, as it may be damaged in a hot oven. ADV ANT AGES OF SL OW C OOKING ARE: The oven sta ys cleaner because there is less splashing.
34 DO NO T allow young children near the appliance when the grill is in use as the surfaces can get extremely hot. GRILLING SHOULD NEVER BE UNDERT AKEN WITH THE DOOR CLOSED . - Do Not line the grill pan with aluminium foil. - Ensure that the grill pan is cleaned after every use.
1. “CREDA CLEAN” OVEN LINERS (T op O v en sides, Main Oven sides and rear panel ) ( a) How "Credaclean" works . The surfaces of the "Credaclean" oven liners are treat ed with a special vitreous enamel which absorbs cooking soils.
2. CLEANING GRILL, T OP OVEN AND MAIN O VEN (a) Base & Rear of T op Oven and Base of Main Oven. Wipe out the oven with a damp soapy cloth. F or more stubborn stains on the base of the oven use a well soaped fine steel wool soap pad . (b) Grill Pan, Meat P ans & Oven Shelv es.
3. OVEN DOORS ( a) Contr ol Panel Regularly wipe with a clean, damp cloth and polish with a clean, dry cloth. (b) T rims It is advisable to clean the trims regularly to prevent any build up of soiling which may detract from the appearance of the cooker .
Car e and Cleaning 38 T ake particular c are not to damage the inner surface of the door inner glass that is coa ted with a heat reflective la yer . Do not use scouring pads, or abra siv e powder , which will scratch the glass . Ensure that the glass panel is not subjected to any sharp mechanical blows.
Electric al Requiremen ts F or your own safety , we recommend that your cooker is installed by a compet ent person such as one who is registered with NICEIC (National Inspection Council f or Electrical Installation Contracting). The cooker should be inst alled in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE Regulations.
Impor tant It is essential that the lower cupboard is constructed in the manner illustrat ed i.e. having side , back, and roof panels so joined as to provide no apertures which could permit access to the oven unit when installed .
