When installed above a cooking appliance , the distance between the surface of the hob elements and the lower grille of the chimney hood must be as follows: Minimum 650mm - over an electric hob.

Installing y our C ook er Hood 8 Fitting the Chimne y Stack: T o fit the upper chimney sec tion, first expand the chimnet slightly to allow it to be fitted over the wall brackets. Then secure the upper section using the four self tapping screws provided .
Make sure that the Cooker Hood is wired in and the power supply is switched on. The Cooker Hood functions are controlled by 5 push buttons, located on the front face of the hood.
Caring f or y our C ook er Hood 10 Before doing an y cleaning or replacing the filters or light bulb , always ensur e that the electricity supply to the Cooker Hood is switched ‘OFF’ .
Caring f or y our C ook er Hood 11 Cleaning: F or your own saf ety and in the interest of hygiene y our Cooker Hood needs to be kept clean. A build up of grease or fat from cooking could cause a fire hazard. Never use exc essive amounts of water when cleaning, par ticularly around the control panel area.
