5 OPERATION AN D USE BEFORE EACH USE: CHECK HUMIDIFIER PLACEMENT Place the Humi difier on an elevated, non-metal lic, lint -free, waterproof, level surface at least 2 feet above the floor. DO NOT place the hu midifier on carp et or a towel. The fan v ent is located on th e bottom of the hu midifier bas e.
6 PERSONAL HU MIDIFIER FEAT URES Automatic Shut-Off As soon as the water i n the water tank run s low , the humi difier will automatically swi tch off. The LCD Cloc k will remain on. Adjusting Mist Output 1. As soon as the humi difier is switched on, it will operate on the high setti ng (5 bars will show on the right sid e of display) .
7 The humidi fier will switch ON and OFF usi ng the preset hours . To switc h the humidifier OFF duri ng the cycle ON/OFF p eriod, press and hol d the CANCEL button until the hu midifier switches OFF. NOTE : If the doubl e arrows (cycl e symbol) bli nk several times , the times was n ot set correctly.

9 A NOTE ABOUT HUMIDITY It is best to keep th e humi dity level at about 40%- 50% of relati ve humidity. In cold weather, wi ndows and even s ome wall s may fog or develop frost from excessive ind oor humidity. If thi s occurs, reduce the mi st output setting to av oid damage from condens ed water dripp ing on to wind owsills.
