5 OPERATION AN D USE CHECK HUMID IFIER PLA CEMENT Place the Humidifier on a hard, lint-free, waterproof, level surface at least 2 feet above the floor, or use th e included metal stand. DO NOT place the humidifier on carpet or a t owel. The fan vent is located on the bottom of the humidifier base.
6 5. Use the menu button to scroll through the settings options and the arrow buttons to adjust your selections. Consult the “ Humidifier Settings” section of the instruction manual for a more detailed explanation of the settings. SET THE COR RECT HUMIDI TY OUTPUT Adjust the Mist Output so that the mist rises up t o be absorbed by the room air.
7 HUMIDIFIER S ETTINGS Icon Function Humidifier Output Setting: While this icon is illuminated, use the arrow buttons to set the Humidifier Output from 1 (least output) – 10 (greatest out put).

In cold weather, wi ndows and ev en some wall s may fog or develop fro st from excessive ind oor humidity. If this occurs, reduce the mi st output setti ng to avoid damage from condens ed water dri pping onto windowsill s.
